Hospital Chapel goes 'Live'

HRN has assisted the Norfolk & Norwich Hospital chaplaincy to broadcast their sevice on Sundays by sourcing, and installing, the equipment required to go on air from the chapel within the hospital. This includes a mixer, radio mics, CD player, and timer automation for the streaming device, which overides the HRN signal allowing their broadcast. Their aim has been to broadcast to the patients since the hospital moved to Colney but the costs have been too high. However, with new and cheaper technology, and HRN's expertise, this is now possible. 'It was an interesting challange getting the new system to work within our system but we know that patients who are unable to attend will value the service', said Mike Sarre chief engineer for HRN.
