Welcome to 2026 but during last year many changes were made mainly in engineering which included a new digital mixer ( Donated to us by the hospital charity ) to enable live outside broadcast automation at a future date.
New additions to our automatic playout service with extra 80s track and most likely will add more 90s tracks and reduce the older tracks from before the 50s although we will retain a few popular tracks such as Genn Miller etc
Just as the football season was about to start lived broadcasting went digital with full automation of studio control to enable the comentators able to switch our online ofering to the alternative output from studio two ( as we cannot broadcast our football comentary due to licensing reasons) after a couple of hiccups all seems to be going well
During the year IT updates have been nescasary with replacements of 3 computers and upgrading of our software, also create a new online record library to look where our music is stored. and preperation for moving our databases to an upgraded one to enable a major upgrade on our CMS (Content Management System) ie our main website which has just been completed
